My Journey
Give me acceptance on my journey.
- Give me acceptance on my journey.
- Give me patience to honor my body.
- Give me courage to keep showing up.
- Give me grace when I fall short.
Rachel's Story
A practice born from the mat — and from the hospital room.
My YogaWill was born out of my journey as a 15-year stroke survivor. At 25, I had a massive ischemic stroke that paralyzed my left side. I was told there were many things my body would never do again. Yoga met me where I was. Not as a performance, not as a posture I had to perfect — but as a daily practice of meeting my body with honesty and care. Today I teach the practice I needed back then. My YogaWill exists so that no one has to walk into a studio wondering if there's room for their body. There is.
